and my unit nurse gave me permission to switch units. YEAH!!!! After last night I knew I couldn't go back to work unless given approval to switch units. I feel sorry for the poor sole who has to take over my position.
I start my new position Sunday, so I have one more night to work with these immature girls. I will be working in the lock unit with the Alzemier residents, so that will be very intersting and I do look forward to it. The cool thing is two girls want me in their unit.

Oh that's so cool Barbara! I thinking people who work with Alzeimers patients are amazing! Good luck. It'll be a challenge, but I bet it'll be worth it.

Funny. You wrote "sole" (like the sole of a shoe), but in this case it makes sense. The person who replaces you will be a poor sole: treated like an old shoe!

Yes it will be very interesting working with these residents, but I'm up for the challenge. This is a lock unit and it is funny walking past the door and seeing a resident banging the door and yelling, "let me out".
Most of the the residents are in beginning to middle stages of Alzemiers. Most of them still can walk around and do some of their own cares. The unit I'm leaving is where the end stage Alzemiers go and that is more diffcult emotionally.

Oh yeah the person will get stepped all over on, unless the new girl is 20-25 years old, smokes and drinks on the weekends.
