I use to suffer with UTIs for years. I love bathing! I switched to a chemical free soap called Miracle 2. I bathe in it and wash my hair with it too. I also wash my clothes in it to keep the chemicals away from my skin. I have not had a UTI in 3 years. You also need to stay hydrated and hit the cranberry juice, but you already know that. If you are interested in trying the soap, I'll send you some.

P.S. It makes great bubbles that are beneficial not harmful.

Have you tried squeezing some lemon or lime into your water?? I guess you have.

A friend of mine hates drinking plain water, but loves it with lemon in it.

Just a suggestion for you!!

did you have to mention the sex thing!? i'm trying to forget that!

well, i'm not sure why i no longer get UTIs. i think a lot of it was the detergent issue. i never took baths. i bet i can count the number of baths i've taken since i was 6 on one hand!

What a generous offer!

I was hoping I wouldn't have to give up my Oscar, but I'm beginning to realize I will. Miracle 2, eh? Who makes it? Is there a web site?

Barbie led me to Estrace cream, which I used yesterday -- and I'm SOOOO much better today! Amazing.

Thanks again for the offer. I'll check into it.

Hey there!

Some great tips here. Thanks!

I'm busted. Yes, I DO use powder! Oscar body powder. Wow. So you don't even use baby powder? NOTHING?

And after the All Free & Clear, what do you use for a fabric softener?

Thanks again,
Bev

Yeah, I tried the lemon. Maybe I'll try the lime.

I drink so much SoyFee every morning, how come my body doesn't use it like water? It's very unfair.

I drink it every morning with breakfast....6-8 oz......and before and after being intimate with hubby. Cranberry juice minimizes the chances of bacteria sticking to the lining of the bladder.

Just wanted to let you know you're right one when it comes to the cranberry juice. Helps UTI and kidney stones as well. Since my husband has had soooooo many problems with kidney stones the Urologist recommended he drink lots of it as it really does help.

Great Job!

I use All Free & Clear Detergent. Purex is good too. I found Downy Free & Sensitive Fabric Softener at Wal-Mart. Not all of them carry it though (there are several in the area where I live)! I had to give up everything with fragrance and dye because of my allergies.
