My fiance just yelled up to me that one of the characters on Sopranos has IBS now! LOL Adrianna? Not sure who that is since I don't really keep up with the show.
He was pretty excited - I thought it was too cute & funny.

Haha - I don't know, but I think he gets happy that it's becoming more commonly known, and that the more people know, the more likely they'll figure out a way to "cure" it - or something like that. Can we ever truly know what goes through a man's mind though?

Oh I can't wait to watch tonights episode. My hubby watches it...and so do I !! I know....its a crazy show!!!

I was just coming to post this up!
Yeah Adriana has IBS-D on the show...she was saying how her docs told her it was mainly due to stress...blah blah blah.
meanwhile she is drinking white russians, smoking and snorting coke! don't think that's anywhere on the IBS diet

I was just about to post this. I watched this last night with my husband. When Adrianna mentioned she had IBS, caused by stress..hmm her drinking and snortin doesn't help either; then later she has mentioned UC my husband & i just looked at each other and I smiled. " Yah, finally somelse has what I have, maybe they can give us more advice on how to control it OR better yet,maybe find a cure???  Wishful thinking!

Yes I watched last night as well! I loved it because we ibs sufferers finally got some exposure! A few of my friends know that I have ibs-c and my boyfriend does as well. They also know how much I suffer and how it has kept me from doing lots of activities that they get to still do. So it was good for them to hear it happening to a fictional character on a show that is so watched! Although, the writers must have not done too much research from the scene when Adriana said that she was drinking white russians because of ibs. That is the last thing you want to do to ease the pain!
