Oh WOW, does this bring back memories! Duck Tails!

When I was in junior high school, I had a duck tail. Yep. I thought I was so cool. I kept a hairbrush in my back pocket at all times -- even at dances -- so I could brush my hair up, just like my idol, Doris, used to do hers. She was so neat, I wanted to be just like her! DTs were all the rage. Hey, those things are hard to maintain! You have to constantly brush your hair UP in the back. The hair is cut real short on top, longer at the nape, so that it's brushed UP, just like the rear of a duck.

Now, some kids preferred a DA It's a duck's a--. Really. I'm not kidding. For a DA, you have to cut the hair differently, such that there's a "seam" right down the middle of the back of the head, and the hair is brushed away from the sides and "into" that seam. A DA is a lot easier to maintain than a DT.

How'd I get started on this?

I didn't mean to get a duck tail....it's just the way my hair is going right now. I don't know why she had to say that.....but yet, this is the lady who, when I was planning our wedding 6 years ago and showed her a pture of the wedding dress I had picked out and was so proud of...she said "It doesn't look like you." Boy is she going to be surprised when my hair gets the way I want it and it looks so much better than hers! Hey it looks better than hers already!

Some peoples mouths are too big!!! Some people are just like that. I have a sister in law who is like that. Sometimes you want to put a sock down their throat!!!

Don't give it a second thought! Alot of the times people speak before they think! She could be one of those people!

Have fun growing you hair out! I have really long hair and love it! Eventually I'll cut it but until then it's fun doing different colors and styles!! Rememeber the only opinion that matters when it comes to your hair is your own!

Gluttony has its upside: DANG THAT CHEESECAKE WAS GOOD!

Who knew tofu and veggie cream cheese could make such a wonderful treat!?

OK, OK... You guys did!

PS: I'm thankful and relieved to say IT WASN'T THE CHEESECAKE! Well, not on its own. I had forgotten about the guacamole before dinner! I think I just let my fat content get too high. I had cheesecake (astonishingly large quantities!) again when I was feeling a little better and NO PROBLEMO! Wahoo!
