Definitely sailing. My family are in to it big time and I first went on a yacht when I was 9 months old. Unfortunately, IBS has put paid to my racing career, but I just love hanging out with boats. My folks bought a gorgeous little old yacht last fall (I love that phrase!) and my fiance and I are borrowing it for 3 weeks for our honeymoon! Can't wait! 
Other than that...reading, especially silly old romantic novels that make me feel good - or Agatha Christie. PD James once said that the dectective novel is not about murder, but about the restoration or order. I so get that.
I also ski, ride (someday I shall get a horse - something I've been promising myself since I was, oh, about 6!), love movies (though the cinema is extortionate!), adore pets (I'm getting a puppy this year!)...
Not that I have much time for all these atm! My current hobbies should probably be called: House Buying, Wedding Planning and Housekeeping!

Nice paintings Gretchen. I am into tole painting, I have also painted my own creations on tree conks (wood type fungus).
I love fishing, cooking, swimming, weight lifting, hiking, and reading.
Unfortunately, while I am taking distance education courses, I have very little time for hobbies!  I have a month off now and I am going full tilt at them!

Hi!
My favorite hobbies are definitely making chocolate and cooking. And eating! I love going to new restaurants and trying new kinds of food. (IBS makes it a little challenging, but I'm darned if that's going to stop me from doing something I like!)
I just took up knitting (yikes! by next winter I may have mastered it enough to make a dang scarf!). I also paint (it's modern art type-stuff). I do whatever crafts I can get my hands on, too. I read a lot. What else?? I like gardening. Oh, and up until recently I worked for a local band (selling tshirts and stuff). I really love music.

ice fishing, hiking, our golden retrievers, photography, crafting (polymer clay), writing poetry, ......right now my biggest hobby is putting together a family recipe book for this Christmas and sorting photographs and putting them in photo albums. I used to be so good about getting our photos into albums....but after we got married and moved into a house I have really fallen behind....like about 5 years behind.

Hey, I learned some new things about you girls today. 
Let's see, my hobbies...
The biggest one right now is cooking and baking... especially baking, because I have such a sweet tooth! I also love reading, especially fantasty novels and children's books. Perusing used book stores is one of my favorite things to do, I can spend hours in one. I also love curling up on the couch for a good movie (and going to the theater once in a while, although I agree with Linz that it's way too expensive!). Music is a big part of my life too. I love singing and listening to almost all types of music... except rap!
