Help survive the Heat!

It's going to be close to the 40 degrees celcius mark over the weekend. Any tips on beating the heat to stay cool???

Wowee! I just die if goes above 35C  (and that's on holiday in Oz, never here!). Stay inside people! 
I have real problems avoiding dehydration so I make up my own "sports" drink with water, a little apple juice and a pinch of salt. A physiologist recommended this to me and it's great.

you could move  hehe, sorry for the smart ass comment. It was 'warm' here today -19c! Ah well that's what you get when you live at 55 degrees North. Although +40c would be unbearable.

Wow.......the whole Celsius thing is so weird to me! Why is America so different? Why couldn't we just be normal and have things like the metric sytem and stuff so that we're just like everyone else?? Geez!

any place that has air con! (I'm so glad we just finished putting it right through our house)
shops, car, movies as much as possible.
Drink heaps of extra water too.
