I'm sure that you would push through it like you do in school. Most of the time I try to ignore it, but sometimes I feel like the kids get cheated, like when they want to go to the mall and I don't feel up to it. But sometimes they offer a distraction for me which really helps.

Well, I could see myself using any excuse to get out of going to the mall. 
I think I'm going to head to bed now... I'm pretty tired and the more I sleep the less I know I have this thing in.

Chinarl...hope you were able to sleep lastnight. This does not sound like a fun procedure!
I have also had bad heartburn since I was...hmmm....13 or so, I lived on rolaids and tums. I was prescribed Ranitidine (twice, am on that again now...but the effects wear off) and losec. The heartburn don't go away, I have the opportunity to take this test as well, but I am scared to! If the surgery you were talking about is needed, that don't sound fun either. A doctor I seen told me you wouldn't be able to burp for the rest of your life, the gas would have to escape the other way  ....I guess the same as throwing up, nothing comes back up!

Actually, last night wasn't bad. I had some trouble sleeping, but that was added to by the fact that it was too hot and my dog decided to take up the bottom 1/2 of the bed. Anyway, so I got pretty good sleep.
This morning I really wish I could blow my nose, but it seems like my throat has gotten desensitized to the tube so I can talk again, which makes me feel better!
Anyway, don't not take the test if you need it... just think, after my build up, it can't possibly be as bad as I make it sound!
