Has any one tried the herb Boswellia? My veterinarian told me about because he uses it for his arthritis. It is suppose to also be good for treating IBS inflammation issues. I just it started taking it 3 days so it is too early to tell

I have been using Boswellia for a few years. It does help with inflammation. Possible side effects: "may cause reflux and symptoms of heartburn. Some people lose their appetite as a result." Also, curcumin has anti-inflammatory & cancer fighting properties. (People with bowel problems are more susceptible to colon cancer.) You can get these separately or in combination form. The People's Pharmacy site has lots of good info, and SwansonVitamins.com has very reasonable prices. Both supplements have helped me put colitis into remission, and now I just get occasional ibs-type symptoms.
Best of luck to you!
