I have recently started taking the Tummy fiber starting with 1/2 teaspoon twice daily and rapidly increasing to 1-1/2 teaspoons. What I have not seen in the library is any information as to whether it is OK to use the tummy fiber in conjunction with medicines that are doctor prescribed. I used to take antispasmodics such as dicyclomine and Librax. I have recently been switched to Glycypyrrolate. Do these medicines counteract the affects of the tummy fiber or is the tummy fiber a compliment to these drugs. Should I be taking the drugs at all or just the tummy fiber? Since I recently changed meds, I cannot tell whether any improvement is due to the meds or the tummy fiber which I also recently began taking. By the way, I really like the peppermint pills to relieve "episodes" of IBS attacks.
