I just started a new teaching job, where I am the only teacher in the room with 9th grade students. I am having major stress and anxiety with how this will affect my IBS-D. When I have an attack, it is usually not a quick ordeal. At my former school, I worked in a co-teaching setting, so I could slip out if needed. Now, that is not possible. I have no idea what I'm going to do if the pain and urgency strikes? I know the stress and anxiety probably isn't helping. Does anyone have any suggestions? Any fellow teachers on here who have faced the same thing?
