Geesh, if only I could justify spending that much on a purse! I so want a Coach bag! Lol, It's funny, cuz I have a Coach key chain, but have never worn anything but Nine West and Liz Claiborne knock offs Can we say poser?!?!

But, I do splurge on my hair....I LOVE how gorgeous you feel the day you come back from the salon (unless you decide to go with a 'fun' new look which turns into a disaster...that's never fun!!). And I love shoes, though I never pay full price...I wait until they're like 50-75% off at Robinson-Mays. Or I shop at Nordstrom Rack...

The one thing I do pay full price for is jeans. I have a very hard-to-fit body shape. I used to be content with getting jeans that were big enough to go over my hips, but never fit the waist. THey were always tight around the hips, with a big gap in the back so every time I bent over I would show a little plummer's crack. EEEEK! Lol, and I've since gone to college, become a victim to fashion sense...and found jeans that fit! That cost me an arm and a leg! And there's no going back!

I would probably spend money on makeup, except I HAVE NO CLUE when it comes to anything makeup. Colors, technique, etc. I always look like a clown/lady of the night when I wear makeup. Especially blush or lipstick...

My 8 year old just started using the sap moss combo. She has very thick, curly, course hair so needs moisture. I love the sap moss smell. Their body soap is great as are their candles. She says her teacher smells her hair because she likes Aveda too. I go to a concept salon too. In fact they are going to be featured in a national magazine as one of the top concept salons in the country!

I splurge on hair, shoes, bags/purses, perfume etc... When on holidays I do splurge - we just got back from a 3 week trip from NZ.

Things I don't splurge on? - hmmm, homely things probably like linen, cutlery etc...

Their soap is incredible. The last night we spent in California before moving to Washington was at the nicest hotel in Santa Rosa, compliments of the realtor who sold our house. The soap in the bathroom of our hotel room was Aveda -- I'd never heard of it before -- and I swear, I could smell that soap on me all the way on the drive up here from there! Through the internet I ordered a large supply (nowhere up here sells the stuff -- or even heard of it!), and I used that soap in our new home as potpourri.

Great stuff.

What brand jeans are these that take care of such problems?

Have you hear of Biosilk? This was recommended for helping with all the snarls in her hair. Do you have any suggestions for a detangler?

Hmm... it seems like the Biosilk might be made by a company that tests on animals, and I don't use things that are. The sap moss seems to work well, as did cutting off most of my hair. Other than that, I used to use Aussie detangling leave in conditioner every day and that worked well. Also, at a salon you can have what's called a "glossing" put on your hair, and it works to make your hair tangle free and shiny, but it has to be done every month and that can get expensive.
