WOW! What a terrific gift! You are SOOOOO fortunate!

My last Coach bag -- at the Coach outlet -- cost $350. That's the DISCOUNTED price. And -- that was 3 years ago. The outlet offers their bags at a quarter of the regular price, but they have a sale table consisting of discontinued styles or color they're overstocked on, and they discount them another quarter -- so I have bought Coach bags from that sale table for half what they sold in stores! I remember one time leaving that store with three bags -- THREE!

I thought my hubby was going to divorce me.

I didn't understand why he gave it to my husband. I think he was so happy my husband helped him out. He actually said something about my husband may end up with another child when I saw it. I had no idea why he said that until I started looking online at the prices. I almost hate walking out of the house with it. Crazy huh?

No, I never met Shanna, I think she left about the time that I joined the board. But maybe when she gets back. Who knows, if she's an undergrad she could be in one of the classes I TA/AI for! That would be funny.

By Casa do you mean Casa De Luz? Then yes. If not, give me more info.

And as for stars... we were at my husband's company Christmas party at an upscale wild game restaurant (just the place for two veggies, huh?) and Tommy Lee Jones was there. Eric's stupid co-worker interrupted his dinner... I was so embarrassed!

I've only been here since August, but we love it.

I don't splurge - I can't now, I just got into charity shop shopping and I LOVE it - you can find such great, unusual and CHEAP stuff and it's making a donation to a good cause. Now I look at regular prices and think NO WAY, what was I ever thinking.

OK, well I love regular and luxury shopping too (just not quite as often), but nothing makes my heart sing like a super-duper BARGAIN...

Not crazy at all! Are you kidding?!? When it's raining, I borrow my husband's back pack -- no way am I gonna subject that purse to rain! If I get caught in the rain, well, I stick the purse up my shirt -- or skirt. Looks funny, but I don't care.

I can recognize a coach bag 100 miles away. It's especially fun at the airport -- I'll say to my hubby, "Coach Bag at 2:00 o'clock!" "Hey -- check out that Coach Bag, tall blonde, 10 o'clock!" I've had people stop me and ask about my purse -- and I do the same.

One time a lady came into the office, carrying a beautiful Coach bag -- I since bought one that same style -- and I asked her about it. She said it's been around the world with her, and in fact once on a cruise she dropped it in the ocean -- they actually fished it out for her! She was horrified that it might have gotten damaged from the salt water -- but nope, she just cleaned it with Coach cleaner, and it's as good as new.

These bags NEVER wear out -- NEVER! I SOOO understand what that friend meant when he gave it to your husband! That's very cute. Did it work?

P.S.: How did I first find Coach bags? Glad you asked. A million years ago, I was sitting on a plane across from the stewardess as she was getting ready to pack up for landing. She was putting away her purse, and I admired it (of course) and asked her where she got it. She told me it was a Coach bag, supplied to all the stewardesses by the airline. Well, I just HAD to have one! As I said, that was a million years ago -- the airline doesn't do it anymore. No surprise there.

While reading Bevs emails I was picturing myself all over the place carrying a much sought after Coach bag and other people admiring me! How funny! Hmm maybe I can just get myself a Liz Claiborne and I won't have to spend so much money!

Seriously I am like Lana and splurge on the hair, plus I used to work in a hair salon and it is possible to get addicted to the pampering of places like that. It's weird I am also very picky about my food and if it's brand name or now like maybe it won't be as good and I will have wasted my money! I'm too chicken to try to the generic brand.

Ah, yes - the thrill of the hunt! I LOVE getting a bargain. I'm so cheap.

But, I do 'splurge' on nail polish & lipsticks. I don't know what it is about them. I just love to buy them. Is that a splurge or an addiction?

I am the same way. My two big splurges are haircare (Aveda)
and skin care (Lancome). Talk about expensive! But it is so much fun! What are your favorite products?

Oooh... I am an Aveda junky! When I get my hair cut and highlighted (twice a year) I go to an Aveda concept Salon. I like that they use all natural products and don't test on animals. I like the sap moss shampoo and conditioner, and the cherry bark super conditioner.
