pregnancy and ibs with constipation

I have 3 children, and with all my pregnancies its been different. I have had a lot of difficulty now with ibs during my menstration time of the month. I just found out I am expecting again, and I am torn with what to do, I fear my ibs will be too much to withstand the preancy and not being able to take my antispasm meds with throw me over the endge. Can anyone give me any advice?

I had my second baby just a year ago and was afraid of the same thing and the first 3 months was a little rough no attacks but just my body ajusting to being prego. This is what I did I drunk lots and lots of water. I walked everyday and made sure I had plent of "if". Don't take prenatil vitimins they make it so much worse my ob is a great doc and he said I could just take a multi-vitimin I take the ones from target and a calcuim pill with magensium ( the ones from wal-greens) (that will help with the c) and a extra folic acid pill everyday. I had a great pregancy and a healthy baby! Good luck and congrats!! hth
