Has anyone read Shutter Island?

The book is good and the movie is coming out this week. The movie looks like it is going to be good but I don't know if can live up to the book.
Did anyone read the book?

When I went to see "The Lovely Bones", they previewed this flick. It looks intense and very good. I have it on my list for a matinee this Friday. I have not read the book, but I intend to.

No but holy cow it looks creepy.. I had to cover my little one's eyes during the Super Bowl when they showed previews.  I'll have to look for the book cause I like a little creepy now and then when i read a book!

The book is good and a quick read. I was surprised at how quickly I finished it. Let me know what you think when you read it.
The commercial for the movie does look really creepy.

Both look great.Shutter Island looks so scary..I haven't watched a real scary movie in years!!!
the Lovely Bones looks so sad.Maybe a tear jerker.
we have little kids so the scariest picture we get to watch is Cloudy with Chance Of Meatballs. 
It was pretty good too!

I've heard the name of this movie and wondered what it is about?
The Lovely Bones was good. I had read the book so not so much of a tear jerker for me, since I knew what to expect.
Planning on seeing Shutter Island on Friday.

The book isn't as creepy or scary as the movie trailer seems to be. This is one of the reasons I am really interested to see the movie and see how different or similar it is to the book.
