I am watching the movie, "The Notebook", written by Nicholas Sparks. At one point James Garner's character is talking to the doctor about his wife. The doctor tells him that with dementia, science has proven that a person goes away for good, eventually. The doctor basically tells him to give up any hope for recovery, because science proves that it will not happen.
I love the line James Garner comes back with. He says, "Science can only go so far, and then there's God."
That is exactly how I feel. Love it!

Kim, you have to watch it. I know it's been out awhile, but I just happened to catch it on ABC family channel last night. I had read the book. I cried my eyes out. And may I say, that Ryan Gossling, who plays the character in his youth, is ridiculous in his hotness.
