Janey's post about what new movies you've seen is great, and I thought I'd start another - what is your favorite movie(s)??

Mine are:
Memoirs of a Geisha - can't get over the imagery and the beauty of it.

Star Wars I through VI - Harrison Ford, need I say more???

Steel Magnolias - when I need a good cry

Out of Africa - I love it, always have, always will

and favorite holiday film: White Christmas - Danny Kaye and Bing Crosby - Snow, snow, snow, snow!!!

IBS A 20+ years, Chronic Migraines, Chiari Malformation (decompressed June 22, 2010), Brachial Neuritis, and ??? the list just keeps growing, but I'm still shiny side up!

We went to New Moon last night. It was pretty good, but I liked Twilight more. Still worth seeing though.

I haven't followed the series, but I heard that New Moon wasn't as good. I have to get these books and start to read the series. I love vampires anyway, so I don't know why I have waited so long.

I saw an interview with the author and she had an amazing story to tell.

In the book it was because he was realizing just how much danger he felt he was putting Bella in.

All 3 of my kids and I disagree with the movie reviews here. We saw New Moon last night---along with about 1,000 screaming hormonal teenage girls. All 4 of us have read all the books and agree that New Moon was MUCH better than Twilight. I was so disappointed after seeing Twilight that I wasn't sure I was going to even see New Moon. I was pleasantly surprised. New Moon follows the book much more than Twilight did.

Just a warning, beware of the hormonal teenage girls in the theater. In most of the scenes there is a shirtless well built teenage boy...this makes all the girls in the theater cat call and scream and yell and etc. We did have fun making fun of them, but it was annoying.

Also at one point Edward is in pain and my son leans over and says, "why doesn't he just use the crucio curse?" LOL I thought I was going to pee my pants I was laughing so hard. Gotta love my kids!
