Trapped gas and back pain

This might sound really weird but, when I get trapped gas, I get awful back pain in my mid back and many times in my neck. Does this happen to anyone else? I try to stay away from the foods that cause this but sometimes....
My husband thinks that's strange (anatomy, physiology teacher). I just think I'm wired all wrong. Just wondered if anyone else experienced the same thing.

Yes, all the time, even around my shoulder blades. The gas pains around my neck and shoulders feel the same as when I had a laparoscopic procedure, and the gas had to be expelled. Sometimes, if I massage the areas, it seems to feel better, or I will lay a heating pad across my neck and shoulders. HTH

I get in the middle of my back and having my hubby pound on me really hard helps.
I'm all wired wrong too so don't feel so bad.
