Please go to Oprah.com and sign and send a copy of the letter to your Congressman/woman and your Senators. The letter is in reference to the Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act. It is so that it continues on after 2009.
After all, if we are bailing out Wallstreet, the banks, and the big auto dealers, why can't some of that money go to bail out our kids. (quoting Oprah and John Walsh)

Thank you Pennie! I knew about the act, but I didn't know it was due to expire this year, and unless Congress backs it with some $$$$, it will fall away. John Walsh has worked so hard for all of us since his son was murdered, I want it to continue on.
It keeps track of these "pervs", who could live right next door to you, so that you can protect your kids.
