I bought myself some plants to relax and feel more alive while I'm sick...and one of them is a bamboo. My hubby names it "Boo" but that just isn't MY name for it. I'm having a hard time finding a name...so I'm turning to all of you. When I find a name that fits...I'll let you know...and the contest will be over!

I don't really have any criteria...except that the name be cute! The bamboo is just so CUTE!

Ok contestants...on your mark, get set, GO!

I like Bambula for some reason....(kind of a cross between Bambi and Dracula)

Lol, but then again, I named my boyfriend's truck Bertha! Maybe I'm not the right person to ask for names

Now the more and more I think about it, I want a bamboo so I can name it my little Bambino. Lol, but my cats eat anything green!

I'm sure anything you name it will be cute Ruchie!

How about "Bam Bam"? I was always a Flintstones fan. Bam Bam would be perfect because you could put some Pebbles in his pot.

I don't know why, but I think of Lily - how stupid is that! LOL It's like naming a dog Kitty.

How about:
Ernie
Snuffy
Grace
Meadow
Darla

What about Baloo, like the bear in the Jungle Book? I don't know what he has to do with a bamboo, but the name is just cute.

LOL Jules, you crack me up!

I decided to call it Asia. I know, I know...not cute at all......I decided after having my Bamboo for a while that it has a sophisticated, feminine side....despite my hubbie's insistence that it's a boy! LOL I was really considering Lil' Boo and Bambi for a while there....until I decided it just needed somethihg more sophisticated. I might decide to change it's name though as it grows more...it may look like a different plant soon enough as it grows into itself! I'll def. let you know!

How are things with you Jules? Great to have you back chica!

*hugs*

Ooh, I like it. Sounds like she's very sophisticated. Does she also have a Gucci bag? My parents babmoo grew like crazy, it didn't look like the same plant. Very little maintenance, my kind of plant!

Things with me have been ok. Went through a long stretch without any stomach issues, and recently started going through an attack. Yuk! And I think I'm getting that nasty flu! Hope you can't catch germs over the Internet.

Other than that, thing are great! I'm engaged (July 10 wedding), went to the Rose Bowl in California over New Years, turned 26 (eek, I'm gettin' old!) and work is just a'rolling along.

Hope things are well with you. I've reverted back to lurker status, but I'm keeping tabs on all 'ya!

Say hi to Asia for me!
