Just felt like announcing that I'm officially off of Anti-Anxiety meds! I tapered off for a month and have been off of them for 2 weeks and am feeling the same - and at times, strong! Also got to eat a spoonful of grapefruit for the first time in years! (Its not allowed to mix with buspar because it increases your absorption of the drug).

Thanks GaGA! I really appreciate it. But I want to stress that it definitely feels more like a "doing it" than a "did it". I'll still be in therapy for quite a while I think. I still have phobic thoughts all the time about it - Its definitely not all behind me, just easier to cope or to quiet most of the fearful thoughts somehow than it was.

That's great news, Hawkeye! It's good to hear all your hard work is paying off.

Don't worry people I'm totally proud!!! Just didn't want to declare myself "cured". Its a big milestone and I'm def. happy about the changes I've made that I never could have imagined a year ago.
