I'm getting really nervous...I took the Fleet Phosphosoda shortly before 6:00PM and very little has happened but I feel weak and cold. I've only gone to the bathroom once, and it wasn't even nearly as sudden or urgent as I recall from the past. Does anyone know if that's normal?
The last time I did this I was running for the bathroom after about 30minutes, so I'm worried something is going wrong. I really restricted my diet beforehand (barely ate and was basically just doing the poweraid and juice) so maybe that's why? Could it take longer if there is less to clear out?

I hope you're okay and that it started working by now. I just read a little bit online it says it should start working in between 30 minutes to 3 hours. So hopefully you're just on the late end of that range. Hang in there Vicam!

Thanks Hawkeye...it's starting to work a little but it's strange. A lot of it is liquid (sorry if TMI) but at the same time it feels like some of me is still constipated. I'm just so worried I'm not going to be cleaned out

maybe that's what you've got because you ate so little recently? I would guess the feeling you're having could just be do to cramping rather than having a lot of poop still left in you. That stuff is pretty strong and it works for quite a while, I'm not sure anyone could not be cleaned out after drinking it. Good luck tomorrow!!

Sorry you're having a more-stressful-than-usual time! If you restricted your diet even earlier than the instructions suggested, you probably don't have much more than liquid in you now.
If it's really scary, you could call your doctor's office. (I did that once about 9:30 at night when the prep for a different procedure produced an unexpected result. My doc was fine with it. Maybe yours would be, too.)
Blessings to you...

Thank you as well for asking I actually just replied to a thread that Janey started with the details, but as far as I know everything went ok
