Yes it is fine. I had the same thing after i was checked when I was pregnant. It is probably the mucas plug and what they call "show". It can happen for about 2 weeks before birth. However pay attention to the cramping. If it comes and goes beging to time it to see if you are having contractions! Good Luck!

Yup, totally normal!!! It happened to me every time. But get used to it, you'll have lots of people checking and rechecking once you get to the hospital!!! If you have any modesty now, you won't have any left by the time that baby arrives!

You're getting close - hang in there! Take my advice - SLEEP NOW!!!!!

Trust me, I understand! Some women dilate very slowly over several weeks (like I did) or some dilate very quickly with no-doubt-about-it contractions! You might ask your doc if they'd be willing to strip your membranes (warning: it hurts) - that combined with lots of sex helped get things going for me!!! No kidding! Both of those things release prostaglandins that help stimulate uterine contractions. I swear we were doing it so much, it was like we were trying to get pregnant again!
