Natural remedies for anxiety

Has anyone tried either valerian root or passion flower teas or supplements for anxiety? If you have tried the teas, do they taste ok? I've read that valerian root smells horrible!

It does smell like bad cheese, and I didn't like the taste.
You can, however, get it in capsule form.

I have used St Johns Wort for anxiety.It really does work but takes a bit of time before you notice.Start with 3 capsules a day and then wean down to one a day when you start feeling better.
I used this for a few years and really had sucess with it.
It can not be used while using BC as it may affect how BC works.thats why I stopped using it and went prescription instead. I only take half a pill when needed and boy does it help.I haven't felt that good going out in YEARS!!!

I wouldn't recommend a valerian tea - yech. But the capsules work great for sleep. I'm usually out within 1/2 hour of taking it, without a "hangover".
