I'm starting a book club of sorts with my friends. What good books have you read lately? Our challenge is to read 50 books in 12 months. I have found reading to be an excellent way to reduce stress/IBS.

Its not very new - a couple years old - Anne Rice's Christ the Lord out of Egypt. Very good story about Jesus' return to Jeruselum and Nazarath after the exile in Egypt. Not your "typical" Anne Rice - a very good read.

Here is a non-fiction that I believe is one of the best I have ever read. The title is: Princess: A True Story of Life Behind the Veil In Saudi Arabia by Jean Sasson. Princess Sultana, a member of the royal family, at great risk, smuggles her diaries and meets with the author in private to share this riveting story. There were things in the book that moved me to tears. Check out the reviews on Amazon.
You won't be able to put it down....I think I read it in two days. There are also two other books by the Princess called Princess Sultana's Daughters and Princess Sultana's Circle. However, they really are meant to be read after the first one. Both are these are an okay read, but don't compare to the first. Good luck with finding other good books.
