When my hubby and I were first married, the "tradition" we enjoyed most on New Year's was curling up inside our little two-person trailer IN THE GARAGE with a bottle of champagne and our little "tummy TV" so we could watch Ben Grower announce how fast the ball was dropping in Times Square!
Ah, newlyweds! What do they know?!?

That's adorable Bev!
My hubby and I just love hanging out at home playing rummy cube, scrabble, talking, drinking tea together, reading to each ohter, looking at catalogues together...anytihng as long as it's together! LOL It's the BEST! Even going to the grocery is a date!
I hope it will always be this way....(I htink it will!)

Oh all you happily married people and those planning weddings are quite lovely! I've never been married, so I can't really say (maybe it won't happen until I'm 60!), but until then, I'll be having fun at home with my mum, 2 younger sisters and nephews and niece.

Sadly, my ideal New Year's Eve would be to go to bed at 9pm! LOL But that never seems to work out. Last year I went to the big San Francisco street party that they have and while I'm glad I did it, I will never do it again. Too crowded! This year I think my friends and I will go to a party or throw one of our own.

Having friends and family over and celebrating life. Watching the TV and waiting for midnight. Remembering past times and funnies and listening to music and Karoke. My kids love to bang the ole pots and pans. I feel so grateful this year after being so sick for the whole summer and nearly on my death bed. I want to savor every moment and I'm glad to have the chat board and great friends like all of you. Live for the moment everyday good or bad is a blessing for we still have life..

My New Years Eve will be spending time with my family and our friends, going out in the country and sliding, sitting around a big bonfire, roasting marshmellows, wieners,(not for me though) and drinking hot chocolate. Then later going to our house and bringing in the new year with food and drinks! Reminicing about the past year;and dreaming about the new year! Happy New Years to all!! Be safe and good health to everyone! Sue
