Serena is now 18 months. And Trooper, our possibly Chesapeake Bay Retriever mix (or choc. lab?). He's 10 weeks old and has beautiful green eyes. They're both keeping me pretty busy right now, um, in all that spare time I have! Ava just turned two and I tell you what her stubborn little personality is coming out! Ahh the terrible two's..gotta love them. I love your puppy too. How sweet is he! Definitely nuts. I've wanted a dog for a long time. My last one died 8 years ago. My boys ARE old enough to help. Thankfully Trooper is a smart dog! He's 11 weeks now and has very few accidents and understands "sit". Your dog appears to be a terrier mix with his ears. Very, very cute. You can always pay the $80 and find out his genetic profile! It's so odd that DNA testing is available on animals. Some people would say it's silly to spend that kind of money, but I woud do it in a heartbeat rather than always wonder "what kind of dog do I have and what does his breed represent." Different breeds were bred for different types of reasons. Our vet seems to think he's partly Chesapeake Bay Retriever. When I looked at pics of those dogs I could definitely see it.
