Here are my babies... Serena is now 18 months.
And Trooper, our possibly Chesapeake Bay Retriever mix (or choc. lab?). He's 10 weeks old and has beautiful green eyes.
They're both keeping me pretty busy right now, um, in all that spare time I have!

Oh Lauren she is so beautiful. I love that hair and those cheeks!!! They grow up so fast! Ava just turned two and I tell you what her stubborn little personality is coming out! Ahh the terrible two's..gotta love them. I love your puppy too. How sweet is he! You are nuts taking on a new puppy! I put my foot down to my hubby and said not until the kids are old enough to walk him and help take care.

Nuts? Yes. Definitely nuts. I've wanted a dog for a long time. My last one died 8 years ago. My boys ARE old enough to help. Thankfully Trooper is a smart dog! He's 11 weeks now and has very few accidents and understands "sit". I'm just tired because he doesn't know how to be gentle with Serena and she doesn't know how to be gentle with him and then they fight over toys!

Lauren,
Your daughter is beautiful. It seems like yesterday when she was born. Time goes by so fast!
Your dog is cute as can be. I know having a puppy around can be very trying. It is nice that your daughter will grow up with a canine friend.

Thanks, Janey. Life is stressful but I AM enjoying the kids. Thanks for the advice. I know it goes by so fast...it's hard to believe I have a son who will be in high school next year. I'm already missing those days when he was younger.

Double J, Thanks. She's my little love bug. She's a mischievous one...maybe you can tell that by the smile? But she's also the most affectionate baby I've ever met!

Hi Christine. Sorry to hear your belly is a mess, too. No fun. Especially after having hope that it would stay good after baby.
I love that dress!! It's so rare I have her in dresses...just not practical to play in. So it's fun to doll her up!

I love looking at cute pictures and your daughter is gorgeous. Your dog appears to be a terrier mix with his ears. Very, very cute. You can always pay the $80 and find out his genetic profile! It's so odd that DNA testing is available on animals. Some people would say it's silly to spend that kind of money, but I woud do it in a heartbeat rather than always wonder "what kind of dog do I have and what does his breed represent." Different breeds were bred for different types of reasons. It's nice to know what your dog's instincts are, even if they are a mix of things. =)

Hmmm, neat idea. Never heard of that before. Our vet seems to think he's partly Chesapeake Bay Retriever. When I looked at pics of those dogs I could definitely see it.
Very interesting!
