Oops, missed this one! And a very Happy New Year to you too. Favourite pressie....

Hmm, can't decide. Could be all the lovely new stuff for my bedroom which makes sleeping my new favourite pastime (well, ok, I've always been rather fond of it, but now even more so).

I got a pedometer too, with a built in radio, but I'm fond of daydreaming as I march (sorry, walk) so drowning out traffic noise could be dangerous in my case!
Actually, I think my favourite is my blender/smoothie maker - just drooling over all the yummy smoothies and soups I'll be eating over the coming weeks and months...must check out that recipe board...

BTW, i'll be in 2004 before many of you! I'll put in a good word for you all when I get there!!! (what am I talking about?)

My fav present was a free pop-up blacker from my internet provider! Gotta love that lol I also am finally feeling better -- my weight is still going down and I am seeing the results in ways that I haven't before -- so that's good. My IBS is under control in ways it hasn't been before -- less and less flare ups.....

The only problem is my skin -- dry skin on my legs and face - but suddenly acne too. Strange.... Specially since I'm in my 30's and never had any trouble before... It was usually oily but clear -- now it is usually dry but pimply. Hate that.

Happy New Year to you all!!!

I didn't get presents this year, but I had a lot of fun watching my kids open their gifts. Each of my boys got new bedsheets and blanket sets. We had fun making their beds and they were so exctied about their presents.

Money is tight for us this year so my husband and I decided to buy presents for our kids.

My favorite gift was two baby bearded dragons: Yep they are Lizards!! I'm allergic to furry house pets, and my beloved bearded dragon Clifford died this last august! I've named them George and Gracie!! They kep me focused off of myself and a great stress reducer!!! Happy new Year to all my new friends--all of you have helped me more than you know!!! Maryh

Maryh,
My boys would love to come your house!!! My nine year old wants a lizard and I keep telling him when he lives on his own he can buy one.
Right now the only animals allowed in my house are fish.

Hi there, I think Shellsbells meant she'll be in 2004 before us because of the time difference. She's ahead of us.

P.S. My favorite gift this year was a ton of hair products my mom splurged on for me from the hair salon. Way too expensive for me to buy. Now I have no excuse for a bad hair day!

Yep, I was just meaning the time difference...I think I'm about 8 hours ahead of most of you, so I'll be shouting Happy New Year out at about 4pm your time (if you're on the same time as the boards, that is).

Anyway, hope it's a good New Year for all of you. I'm staying at home this year to enjoy it - not going out to any parties. But I love new year - I know some people find it hard - I'm just the eternal optimist. There's nothing I love more than a new beginning and to think there's a possibility to start afresh and make life all that you want and more, especially if you've had some hard times to deal with (haven't we all?).

Bring it on...!!!

btw, I used to know a bit about numerology (the meaning of numbers). The year 2003 added up to a 5. The energy of 5 is all about freedom, change, risk taking, variety, adaptation, rebellion and the unconventional, so the year 2003 may have brought such issues to the fore in your life, or the world in general.

2004 adds up to a 6, (think of the 60's) and you get....
love, beauty, peace, harmony, family, service and healing, so we might see these issues developing. Hopefully, this is not total utter rubbish and my wish is that 2004 will bring love, peace and healing to you all this year, in any way this world wishes to weave it's magic for you.

All the best for 2004

Well Bells (I'm gonna call you that so that way I don't get you and Shell confused!) my friend lives just south of London and according to her, we're 5 hours different so she always calls at about 10 a.m. her time and it's only 5 in the morning here!! It's horrible! lol
