I was never diagnosed with IBS, but the doctors always told me I had a lazy bowel.. I'm fairly sure it's basically the same. Well I have suffered from this since I was only a baby. I had it pretty bad, I could go a month without using the toilet. My stomach would be so full it would bloat out like pregnant woman. And I only recently just turned 15, so you could imagine being the age I am.. I got a fair bit of grief about it at school. And my bowels would fill up so much that it would just stretch bigger and bigger to allow more in. Doctor seems to think it could have caused permanent damage, but we'll soon see. And yeah the worst part I think was that having a full bowel was messing with my bum muscles and stuff, had a bit of leakage for a while there. It was horrible I was ready to give up. My parents ha tried just about every medication there was, nothing was working! Then good old Daddy had a word to my doctor and said he wanted me to go in for an enema, no questions, just do it! And they did First one didn't work.. Second, perfect Completely empty! It built up a bit over the next week but then I start to use this stuff called Picolax. It's amazing!!! I use one of the once a week at the moment, and it clears me out and keeps me regular (Which I have NEVER been before.. I'm loving it) After that enema I lost 5 kilos!!! Yeah, in the one day! Hahah it's great. I'm happier and healthier than I have ever been. I can't believe it took so long to get to this point, but like my Daddy was saying.. It's also a mental thing, a year ago I might not have been ready to do it. I know I'll always suffer with some sort of bowel problem, but it's not as bad as it was.. So I'm happy.
And yeah that's about it guys Just realised I haven't been on here in months, thought I'd fill you in with my achievements lol.

Wow thats so great I'm glad you found something that helps. It's hard having bowel issues as an adult I can't imagine you having to deal with them at such a young age.You seem like you have a great personality and I'm glad to see you aren't letting it get you down.
Enjoy your new found sucess!

That's a wonderful report... I'm so happy for you! I work with teenagers and "life" is hard enough without all you've been through. Where do you buy Picolax or is it a prescription???
Hope your life just gets better & better!! {{Hugs}} - GaGa
