I'm doing great! I've been on Elavil for almost a year now and it has done wonders for my IBS. I've put on a few pounds which does wonders for my self image. I haven't been able to put on weight since I was pregnant 9 years ago I still think I'm too thin but I'm not near as self concious.

I'm glad you are enjoying Ollie. I bet he's a doll. You'll have to post some pics. I'd love to see him now. My favorite times in babyhood was like the 8th mth to 1 year. Then when they got out of diapers and I didn't have to grab that darn diaper bag everywhere we went. It was so nice to just up and go! You'll get to that point in a few years, unless of course you have another

So you want to go back to work? As much as I liked staying home the 12 weeks with both of mine, I shopped entirely too much. Luckily I was getting paid for maternity leave but I know if I quit work, I wouldn't have that income and I would probably go nuts knowing I couldn't shop! Sounds funny but it's the truth. I was never a "stay home full time mom". If I could have, I would have worked part time but that wasn't an option for me at my job. I don't regret it in any way as my boys turned out fine. Of course I had a relative watch them for the first 4 years so I was fortunate. But they each still went to daycare after school and summers. They are 13 and 10 now and are very responsible boys. I think kids that have working parents are almost forced to grow up a little faster

Take care and let me see some pics

Hey Lisa,

Glad the weight gain on Elavil has worked out for you... I'll consider that karma payback for the weight I gained I didn't need to on the drug (and the five months of weight watchers it took to get it off).

I am kind of back at work, he's in daycare two days a week so I have all day to write. And I'm working from home scoring undergrad application essays. I am definitely not a stay at home mom either. I appreciate the five days a week I have with him when I get two off.
