Thanks! Great to "see" you too. I am still jealous of the time you spent in Spain. Are you fully re-acclimated to the US?

I have been back two years now. I can hardly believe it. I still miss living in Spain and think of it often. It is an experience that will stay with me forever.
I would love to go back for a visit but I know it wouldn't be the same. We are looking at another move soon but it will be some where in the states not overseas again.

Hi Angela (and everyone else!)
I randomly decided to do a little lurking today and just noticed this post. =]
I'm doing really well! Amanda gave you a pretty good summary and everything she said is correct. We talk everyday and i'll def be at her wedding. I'm a full time psychologist now (FINALLY) and i'm still living in MD.
I adopted two adorable kittens almost a year ago and found myself a fantastic boyfriend as well. Hopefully i'll be the next to announce an engagement. We've been ring shopping (fingers crossed).
I still have some IBS like symtpoms (i.e. I don't know what it's like to NOT have D).. but i'm kinda over it. I've lived like this for the last 10 years so I just grin and bear it. That's what life has handed me, so if I gotta go in public, I gotta go in public. Oh well.
I'm all for Heather's program, but for me personally cutting out certain foods didn't work. I still drink coffee and eat pizza and all sorts of bad things. I know I shouldn't but it's a total crap shoot (no pun intended). Some days they bother me, some days they don't. It's a price i'm willing to pay.
I just tell my friends it's a great diet. Considering what I eat, I should be a lot larger than I am. My friends are all jealous that I drop half the calories immediately after every meal.
At least I keep immodium in business.
Hope all is well with ya'll.
Anyways, I've had a blog for awhile and any old friends are welcome to check it out-since I don't make it back here nearly enough. http://mylifeasacrazycatlady.blogspot.com

Hey right back at you! Nice to hear from you. It sounds like life is really treating you well. Congrats on the job and new guy! Hope you have a ring on that left hand soon! I know what you mean about eating things. Ever since I started a AD my IBS has been so much better and I have been able to eat alot of other things. I actually had my first attack today after about 1 year. But I totally ate some not so great stuff so I knew it would happen! Anyways we are moved into our new house and loving it. Take care of yourself and pop in now and then!

Hey.. I will definitely try to pop in more around here!
Congrats on the new house and sorry about the attack. I still have them every few days, but they have become 100% more manageable. Maybe i'm growing out of it.
