The hiring agency is offering me 10K less than they promised 5 weeks ago!! I hung up the phone and cried!! Now I just want to f*ck with them.

I had a job do just about the same to me. I'm not a good negotiator usually but in a way this made it so easy because I was angry and felt like they were f-ing with me. I just said, look you quoted me x, and now its y. The truth is I need to make more than your first quote to take the job. That time at least, it worked I made more than the original offer.

OK, I stood firm and got 5K back. I get the other 5K back when I go full time! So I officially got the job today, *really* officially this time, now that contract negotiations are over. I start THURSDAY the 27th!?! Huh? So I'll have worked a whole 2 days in 2007. Hm, think I should file taxes? I guess I will, just for the hell of it.
Employed nelly!!! In 3 months I get insurance and a parking pass!

Goood question! I have to do something good. Good and expensive!!
I've been so preoccupied with being sick and stressed, it's weird that I've been thinking of celebrating *anything*!! Maybe I'll do something totally un-IBS... like eating a BLOCK OF CHEESE! YEAH!
