She is kind of a serious little soul. Apparently I was quite a serious baby, too, so she comes by it honestly.
She's been a good baby. She'll do at least one longer stretch of sleep (maybe 3.5 to 6 hours) and goes right back to sleep at night, which means I can get some rest, too!
I don't remember if I remembered to post, but your latest pics of Ava were very cute!

Hi! Her name is Sara. I took ADs during my pregnancy, but that is only partly related to my IBS.
As far as IBS goes, I'm a D. I did have some mild flare-ups early on and took an imodium or two. Once I got to the later stages of pregnancy, I could eat whatever I wanted and still had perfect BMS. It was heaven!
Now I'm somewhere in-between. My gut isn't quite as sensitive as it was before pregnancy, but it's not as great as it was in the third trimester, either.
Good luck to you!

Thank you for responding. As I am sure with others I am alittle nervous since it will be my first and how I will deal with the IBS. So far since I started EFI diet no dairy and light on the wheat/gluten stuff I am getting better. Bowels are somewhat cooperating. I lean more towards C so my obgyn gave me prenatals with stool softner. Which prenatals did you guys take? I read some were to be careful with Iron because that upsets the GI.
Chris what Ad did you take? I am taking Zoloft since it helps with the IBS and anxiety. I tried to get off slowly and safely this summer but the withdrawl was a night mare. My IBS and GERD went crazy!! Wounded up in the hospital so now I am back on it and a lot better. Scary huh how much your body LOVES the AD for IBS.
Well next week is the ovulation thing so wish me luck

the prenatals I took were Prenatal MR 90 w/FE tabs. MFG:KV (Ethex). I'm still taking them. I had a lot of probs with C so I had to do Colace big time and then when I switched my calcium tabs to Calcium Citrate Plus with Magnesium, it was miraculous!
Good luck to you!!

I just took OTC prenatals because the doc prescribed ones with stool softener, which I need like a hole in the head!
As far as ADs are concerned, I was on Wellbutrin, but they switched me to Zoloft at the end because it's better for breastfeeding. If you're already on zoloft, you should be fine to stay on it. I seem to recall there's a lot more research showing that one is safe.
Good luck!
