Pages: 1 "Mystery Diagnosis" Habba Syndrome and "D"       #319167 - 11/20/07 06:01 AM Edit Reply Quote barbie Reged: 04/22/04 Posts: 2435 Loc: Texas I watched "Mystery Diagnosis" last night on the Discovery Channel and it had a really interesting case about chronic "D". The diagnosis after everything else was ruled out was Habba Syndrome. It has something to do with gallbladder bile salts and there is medication that helps. Here's the link if you're interested. So nice to see your smiling face! I watched the episode and was looking to pursue gallbladder testing. Can't remember if I'd had that particular test. It gives me hope! Very interesting information. I'm currently on an antidepressant, Elavil, which seems to be working about 80% of the time. I think when it stops working I may mention to my gastro this Habba dx and see what he says. I'm assuming those adorable girls are your grandchildren?
