Oh sweetie, I am truly sorry. I have had five miscarriages myself and I do understand the pain more the most. I know from experience that nothing I can say will take away the hurt. It is going to hurt for a good long while. Talk about it when you feel like it but be prepared, those who have not gone through this pain will have a hard time understanding and some very well meaning people can say some really inconsiderate things. Love and hugs and remember to just take it one day at a time, don't worry about what others will say or think, take care of yourself.

I don't visit these boards much anymore but I saw your post and wanted to write.

I'm SO sorry for your loss. I've had one miscarriage at 11 weeks and it was one of the most difficult things I've ever gone through. Cry when you need to and talk to your DH when you need to. Guys really handle these things differently than women, so be prepared for that. People will also say some pretty dumb things to you right now, and try to brush them off when you can. If they've never been through it then they can never understand.

Take care of yourself!

I miscarried my first pregnancy about the same time you did. I think postpartum depression is a real possibility. It takes a while to get over it. Once your body heals, you will feel better. It will always be sad to you, but grieving is a natural process and it takes longer for some than others to work through that process. Hang in there!

Sending hugs and prayers!

I'm so sorry about your loss. I don't post on the boards much anymore, but pop in every once in a while and lurk, and saw your post.

Something that helped me with my miscarriage was this site: DailyStrength.com. They have an amazing miscarriage community in which I found a lot of comfort in talking with other people.

Hope this helps and hope you and your partner find comfort somehow.
