What happened to all of our great, expert moderators?

I miss them (especially on the IBS Diet board).

I miss them, too. I know it's natural for people to move on but that doesn't mean I have to like it!

Here's what I know about moderators for some of the Boards.

AtomicRose seems to be gone from the Boards:
SOB!

and I haven't seen Kree post in over a year (sob, again). I really miss them both terribly on the Recipe Board and AtomicRose even more on the Diet Board.

Yoda (HanSolo) is still posting although not as frequently as she used to. JenniferRose was posting a fair amount this summer but I haven't seen her in a while. And Melissa (Mags) hasn't posted since April. (I know she was a Diet Board moderator but where I really miss her is on the Recipe Board.)

On the Living Room, Ruchie (Snow For Sarala) has been gone for over a year. It looks like she's dealing with other issues:
Sarala

And I thought there was another Living Room moderator but Ruchie's is the only name listed.

In happier news, Shell is still doing yeoman work on the Fitness Board - yay!

It seems to me that the Boards in general have gotten much quieter than they used to be - I know I'm not posting as much - so maybe this is just the changing of the guard as new posters move in and old ones move out.

I am glad you're still posting, Maria. You have an admirable way of dealing with issues very directly while still being kind and compassionate.

Thanks, Sand. I understand people move on and it does seem as though there is a changing of the guard going on. And I'm also happy to see that you still post here and help so many of the newbies. You're awesome! Maybe you should be a moderator...

That's funny - I was thinking *you* should be a moderator. You'd be a great one.

As for me, it's logistically unworkable - I've got another round of surgery coming up then I hope to be away from home for 6 weeks in the Spring. Plus - and more important - I'm temperamentally unsuited to the job. I lose my temper much too easily. But thanks for thinking I'd be a good moderator - it means a lot to me.

Lately I've been reading through a lot of posts, so I'm still doing my job, but with my separation, I'm posting very little.

Both great *and* expert in my opinion. I know you're having a tough time right now. Hang in there. It does get better.
