So today was the last day of our standarized test for my kids. Well right in the middle of it my stomach starts rumbling. I had to call someone to come in to proctor while I ran to the bathroom. My stomach has been yucky and bloated all week. I have been taking 1/2 of my AD but think I need to go back on a full dose. I haven't lost any weight, I have bunch of size 8 pants that don't fit me and a bunch of size 12 pants that are two big. So I must need size 10. I don't have the time or the money to spend to get new clothes. I am so crabby I can't even stand myself. Isn't that horrible! Anyways I am just venting to whoever will listen.......... At least the sun is shining and it's warm out!

Angela, I'm can totally feel your pain. I have just gotten over a few days of blah myself! I had my period and it seemed as though the whole 5 days of it were yucky. I litteraly didn't have lunch and dinner for 2 days. I unfortunately lost a few pounds from just that. I'm sitting here now with pains cause I felt better today and had some vegetable barley soup from a restraunt for dinner and I think the cooked onions(which I ate around them)made my belly hurt. Can't win!!!

Standardized testing already? My gosh, our school doesn't do them until March. You guys do them early. I just couldn't imagine being a teacher and have to run out of class to go to the bathroom. That must be so hard for you. I feel for ya I know it can come at any time and thank goodness I have free reign of a bathroom all day at my job.

Also, I'd take the full dose of your AD. It will make a difference I bet in your symptoms of IBS. I know you don't want to gain weight but honestly if you could be a few pounds heavier and have no pains or IBS, wouldn't it be worth it??? Hang in there and hey, try the Good Will or Salvation Army stores for some clothing. You'd be amazed what people give away. I've gotten so many brand name(Express, Ann Taylor)clothing for dirt cheap!

Lisa- Thanks, You always have such great advice. You are right about the AD. I am back taking the full dose and i plan on staying that way. I have realized that the extra weight is worth the tummy feeling better. I did go to a consignment shop today but didn't find any pants that worked. Found a cute Nine and Company coat though!! Went to Target and found that the size 8 pants fit me there but not long enough!! The tens were too big! Go figure! It must be the style. However didn't find pants but found two really cute shirts on clearance! I do feel better today. Hubby brought home flowers today with a Tazo Chai Tea Latte with soymilk from Starbucks. So that was really sweet. Noah and I just made Halloween cupcakes and he had a ball. So I know it just the hormones getting to me. Hope your tummy feels better.

We use to do our standarized test in January but they moved it to October 2 years ago. We are done though so yeah!!

Just a quick note: Just bought Jessica Seinfeld's cookbook for kids and it is great! Lots of recipes already IBS safe or can be easily adapted. Just an FYI for everyone!
