Thanks, Michelle. The tests were done on luteal phase (days since ovulation) days 12 and 16 (most hpts work around lpd 14). I think that's the same as cycle days 26 and 30. Yes, it was a pretty big jump. It does make me a little nervous that it could be twins. DH and I would prefer a singleton, but we'd be overjoyed with whatever is in there. Especially after what we went through to get here. Two for the price of one wouldn't be too bad It just makes me nervous b/c it is higher risk. But I've been through plenty, I know I could handle it.

I have less than 2 weeks until my first u/s. I'll be very nervous for that to find out if it is 1 or 2. And to hopefully hear the heartbeat(s). Right now I'm just super nervous about morning sickness. All the women in my family get it really bad. And I've already had a fair amount of nausea. I'm only a little over 4 weeks along, so early symptoms could also be a sign of twins. I guess we'll see. Both my mom and my sister lost about 20 lbs. during the first trimester of their first pregnancies. I don't have that much to lose!! I'm only 105 right now. Never was able to gain any weight after surgery. So I'm eating as much as I possibly can right now to see if I can add on a few pounds before I start puking everything back up :P

Anyway, sorry for rambling. I'm just very excited and have a lot on my mind. Thanks for checking in. I hope you're doing ok.

I had my first u/s this afternoon. Everything looks great!!! And it's just a singleton We would have been happy either way. But less worry with a singleton. We saw the heartbeat. A strong 118 bpm We actually heard it too. So cool. We got pictures too. Now I think we can start telling a few people. Probably just my family right now. But still so exciting.

Today is 6w1d. EDD is 4/28/08. I go back on Sept. 26. And then I'll wean off my meds and go to an OB. Sounds scary. But I'm excited for things to keep progressing.

Still LOTS of nausea. But still no puking. There is plenty of time though The nurse gave me some nausea candy to try. We'll see if it helps.
