Thanks!

The wedding was the worse wedding ever, long story short, we drove 5.5 hours to get to the hotel, rehearsal dinner was another 40 minutes away in downtown and couldn't find parking. Had to drive another 35 minutes from dinner to rehearsal. From the hotel the church was 35 minutes, wedding was LONG, over an hour, couldn't see anything as there were 9 attendants on each side, standing in front of the stage. Directions were incorrect to the reception which was at a run down dirty hotel yet another 40 minutes from church, only cheese and crackers at reception, no dinner or booze. Back to the hotel they told to to stay in yet another 40 minutes and no kitchen at hotel, had to order out for pizza. Sunday brunch was at some aunties house, almost a complete hour in the opposite direction. Took us almost 7 hours to get home. I feel utterly beat up, beyond exhausted and got a tummy bug as well!

I have an appt at 8am, leaving the house at 6am tomorrow to go to the University of Michigan rheumatology department, lets hope they figure something out and come up with some better treatments!

Oh, I'm so sorry, I couldn't help laughing at how awful that whole scenario was!! You poor thing. I hope you've fulfilled that obligation for a while and you can stay in a bit and decompress!

I've had a bad attack yesterday and this morning, and I'm on a fast at the moment. And really ravenous. Send cookies. Big ones. With chocolate.

Sounds like the wedding from hell. I think I would have gone home after the cheese and crackers only reception. I figure no dinner is one thing, but no booze is way out of line.

I hope your appointment tomorrow goes well and the U of M is very, very helpful. Please let us know how it goes.

Michelle.. if you want a place to rest and grab an IBS safe snack, give me a holler tomorrow- I have the day off... and am only about 15 minutes from U of M..

*HUG* I don't envy you that- seems that a lot of weddings I hear about lately are that way

Michele -- Gentle hugs!

Sorry that wedding sucked so much. Sounds stressful and unpleasant.

Well, at least its's over!

Let us know how the UM rheumy appointment goes. Fingers crossed that they figure something out!
