Hello,
I was just wondering if anyone had any thoughts about how on the message boards we end out post with IBS-C or D or pain, bloat - I was just curious as to how that affects our subconscious to be identfies ourselves based on this. Does it not maybe reinforce the negative? Debbie IBS

Eh, I don't end my post with anything and I still suffer from my IBS (a!) every day. Negatively dwelling on things is bad, in fact, there was just a study that showed that people who talk or dwell on problems get more depressed, but I don't know that mentioning it is dwelling on it. It's part of my life, and I have to accept it as such.
Now... my weight on the other hand. Ugh.

I can understand what you are saying but honestly I just look at it as a helpful piece of information that helps others understand what you are "categorized" as. I can't relate to C people so when they post I usually don't chime in but D people I can relate to since I am D. I'm not sure that each of us dwell on what we are categorized. I know I don't.
