I thought of you this morning because we are getting ready for the 4th of July celebration and I remembered that your b'day is on the 4th of July Eve!

I hope you have a great IBS free birthday Lisa!

I will be joining you in turning 40 on September 25th!

Thanks lj for remembering! I had a very, very nice 40th birthday. Was it IBS free??? Well........sort of. I got my period yesterday and it's been lingering with cramps a little today but on the good side I haven't had D. Just kinda funny feelings. No pain or anything. Just iffy. Anyway my coworkers had a luncheon for me with everything that I can eat. Turkey lunchmeat sandwiches, pasta salad, spinnach dip, chips, pickles and chocolate cake. Now you all are saying I'm sure "that doesn't seem IBS friendly" and some really isn't. The spinnach dip because of the sour cream and mayo isn't good for me but I ate a taste anyway. The pasta salad was with Italian dressing which I'm ok with sometimes so I had a little bit and the pickles I can usually tolerate. I even had the chocolate cake. Hopefully tomorrow I won't pay for it but I'm off from work so who cares!!!
I got 3 bouquets of flowers from friends and my 4 year old nephew, a nice ruby ring from hubby (which I'm taking back .....long story.....we are doing tile backsplash in our kitchen and I told him that that could be my present since we can't afford the ring and the tile . Sounds pathetic I know...ruby ring...tile for kitchen...but ya know what? I'd rather have the tile. I told him he can buy me all that glitzy stuff when we have nothing else to buy for the house (which will probably be never but.....)I love him for trying.

Tomorrow I'll post a pic of the huge mackeral fish that's holding a sign "Holy Mackeral Lisa's 40" with 40 little fish on our front lawn. Hubby thought it would be comical to have this. Now every neighbor as they drive by honks their horn a million times.

Thanks again guys!

That is sooo cool! I love it. I showed my husband. He said he'd better start coming up with ideas! Ha...I'll be 38 next month. He's got a little time left.

Happy belated bday!

Hilarious!!! Did he make them himself? You must feel really special.

Heaven's NO! He made a phone call and they came and set them up. They are litterly nailed in the ground with huge nails so that no one (not even I) could get them up! I didn't mind though. It's nice to have the attention at least every decade!!!
