Hubby and I are heading out on a two week road trip up the coast of Oregon this Saturday and I'm a bit nervous about what my IBS-D is going to do. And, of course, getting nervous about it only makes things worse. I'm prepared with Imodium, etc. Mornings are the worst! We haven't been an a true "vacation" since our honeymoon 9 years ago. It's going to be a lot of fun. How can I get over the nervousness? The past two years for me....vacation time has been spent recovering from surgeries. First my appendix in 2005 and then a total hysterectomy 9 months ago. I know I'll do OK....just wish I wouldn't get so nervous and just enjoy the ride. Ya know?
