Jen - I remember you!

I'm really sorry to hear about the hair loss. Could it be medication induced? Are you still taking Plaquenil? I've heard that hydroxychloroquine can cause some hair loss. Does your hair look lighter? I think it also "bleaches" the hair.

I think Michele's new cut looks really cute. Maybe something layered like that would work for you too?

Oh, I forget to mention headbands! They are very stylish right now and once you slide them on, spray the crown of your hair a bit on the backside of the headband for a bit of body.

I have a pretty good sized bald spot about an inch from my hairline just off to the right side. By cutting a LOT more bangs and parting them on the opposite side of the bald spot, I can sort of cover it up pretty well. Yes, I do believe a god hair with lots of layers makes a huge difference!

I couldn't see the pictures at work. So cute!!! I love your hair. I get mine cut tomorrow and I still need to figure out what I'm doing to it!

Thanks mary!! Good luck with your cut, I know I get nervous sometimes but since being so sick, well, I seem to worry less about these sort of things! I timed it, took me 8 minutes to dry and style it this morning, YAY!! Not that it matters as it is pouring down rain today but oh well!

I don't have time to reply to everyone, but thanks for all of the suggestions -- I really appreciate it. I haven't really lost enough hair to feel justified in doing something like Rogaine (it is expensive!), but I think I will try another salon to see what other shampoo/conditioners are out there that might help. I will probably end up getting my hair cut, too. Ugh.

Michele -- your new haircut looks great!

When I lost a ton of hair after the birth of my babies, my hairdresser freaked and made me promise to go and buy a bottle immediately. It takes time, but it does help.
