Congrats!
I did find that my BMs got more regular, towards the end (third trimester). I don't know that there's anything you can do for the gas, and I had some wicked reflux starting in the second trimester. Even with my Nexium. I basically had to sleep sitting up.

Thanks everyone for your replies! I'm excited already, and my boyfriend immediately declared when I told him that he didn't want to wait the full 9 months - that he wanted the baby now! It was cute.
Other than the gas and bloating, I had a bit of morning sickness last week and am starting to feel really tired around the afternoon/evening hours. I also have nasty acidic stomach and it already feels like none of my clothes fit me.
I can't believe I have to wait another 7 1/2 months!

My husband and I want so badly to start a family but we just can't do it yet financially. One day soon, hopefully. In the meantime, I'm happy for all the mamas on here.
Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations. So exciting. Amazing how many of us have been popping up prego! Can't blame it on the water though.

I'm so happy for you!
This is our first month TTC, but unfortunately DH is dead asleep while I'm sitting here on what I suspect is my peak fertility day.
Here's hoping I'm next!

ask away with all those preggie questions - feel free to e-mail me anytime. I found my IBS didn't let up till the second trimester so good for you!!! As for the gas, same old same old. Fennel tea, the yoga gas positions, I did take tums a lot (Doc approved of course), eating slowly and all that stuff. The funny thing is that toward the end of pregnancy, well, gas has a mind of its own - there's no holding back, baby! But for now, just do what you normally would do for bloating and gas. XOXO and I'm SO happy for you!!!!!

Thanks!
Ugh, I can certainly tell that I got spoiled with my IBS symptoms dissapearing the last 8-9 months! I've recently gotten addicted to brussel sprouts and tried having them last night - oh my gawd, I thought I was going to keel over with gas. LOL Something tells me I'm going to have to force myself to like the fennel tea and tums (ick).
What's really nice is I'm able to tell the difference between gas cramps and other cramps, which causes less worry for me. So far only gas cramps and no spotting or bleeding (and some REALLY sore boobs!), so I'm starting to worry less and less about the possiblity of miscarriage.
One of the gals on a pregnancy board that I chat on now recommended something called a Bella Band to help with my bloatedness. Anyone ever try this? I think I'm going to go check it out at lunch at a local store that sells it.
