GIft idea for graduating college niece?

Hi everybody!

My niece is graduating college this coming weekend and I'm totally stuck on what is appropriate (and appreciated) for a gift! I know I can give money, but I'm just trying to avoid that as it's the easy thing to do.

She is 23 and a history major.

BTW, I did ask her if there's something she would like/need and couldn't get an answer.

Any ideas?

to be honest- most students I've talked to needed/wanted $$ or GC's more then things...

My aunt and uncle gave me a necklace when I finished my masters and I really appreciated it. It didn't really matter what the gift was, just that they were kind enough to give me one.
