Avidan,

How is your recovery going? I was wondering what kind of diet you are on right now. Can you eat whatever you want? I'm still struggling to get things to move normally (it's been 3 weeks since surgery). I've been trying to eat mostly soft foods. And I have to take some milk of mag every day to help. I think I ate a little too much last night, and today has been awful! My stomach is huge, and nothing will budge...very painful. Did you have anything like this? Has your system adjusted to a regular schedule? How long did it take for you to feel like you could get out and do normal things again? I still don't even dare leave the house. Any advice you have would be helpful.

By the way, I looked at your profile. I am an engineer too Electrical. But I've been out of school and working for about 4 1/2 years.

Well, it took me a while. I was on Miralax for quite a few weeks after the surgery. I didn't move to a full diet until close to a month afterwards, and I'm still having some problems with red meat which means I'm gonna scale that back a bit.

Oh, and I just switched majors, but I'm not 'technically' an engineer anymore.
