I'm taking it because my gastro Dr. feels I have too much bacteria in the intestinal track and that it might help w/the problem.

You can Search for this across all Boards with no time limit - I'm pretty sure it's come up before.
You can also do a couple of Searches across all Boards with no time limit for:
SIBO
small bacteria
