After having a bad day with IBS I have ended up with a raw tush. I've tried Prep. H. and hot water but it's still sore. Any other suggestions?

I keep a stash of baby wipes in the bathroom (and my purse!) at all times for when my bum is sore. Diaper cream helps make it hurt less.

Try Tucks pads (i think they have witch hazel on them) or a medicated spray for relief. I had hemrhoids real bad after pregnancy not to mention other pain down there. The hospital sent me home with Tucks pads, ice packs, sitz bath, and a medicated spray.

Hope this helps.

Yup ... baby wipes reachable from the toilet seat. I had a real problem with hemrhoids but a trip to the docs and some surgery, and now bothered no more. I am sorry that I waited so long before seeing a doctor about them. Good luck to you.

I get this quite often and I find what eases it the most is a hot bath with nothing in it but baking soda.

Hope it helps.
