Hi everyone, just thought I'd post a message here introducing myself...I'm Megan, I've just found out I've got IBS, still getting used to it.  Just wanted to chat to some other people with the same thing, whether IBS related or not - I sometimes feel like people don't really get what it's like and that everyone's getting a bit fed up with me and The Stomach!

Hey! I totally agree with the not so subtle point about it being "you" and "your stomach." Tons of events I'd have liked to go out to but my stomach wouldn't have made it through, sadly!

Thanks everyone for being so nice, I wasn't really expecting to get any replies! At the moment I am extremely bloated, and finding it difficult to go out without fancying a drink...other people having this problem?? Ended up just thinking 'oh well' and drinking last night, felt like I was pregnant! Funny IBS story: My new boyfriend's sister, when she met me thought I was actually pregnant; by the end of the evening, a whole pub full of people thought I was, and later his mum too. Excellent first impression!
