I got this email from Avidan's Mom and got permission to post it for all to read.

Hi, I'm Avidan's mom.

Avidan asked me to let you know about his surgery.

He hasd surgery yesterday and it was successful. The doctor took out a section of his colon that was causing his prolapse. Theu also looked around and saw no signs of disease. the doctors believe that once he has recovered from his surgery he will be able to eat a "normal" diet.

He was uncomfortable last night but today they had him up and walking and eating ice chips. He is on a morphine pump and is using it.

Overall he is in good spirits and is hoping to go to clear liquids tomorrow.

We expect him home on Friday.
