There's a dead animal smell this morning, which was gaging but tolerable. Now maintenance has sprayed a chemical that's piercing through my skull. All others seem unaffected, even relieved the dead smell is masked.
I begged them not to spray the spray. Now my head is splitting.
To go home or not to go home? If I don't work I don't get paid. Also the district manager is here today, so it would "look bad" for me. AAAIGH! So frustrated and in pain.

I'd say if you're able to do your job, stay. If you're in too much pain/discomfort, go.
I'm really sorry - that's awful. I wonder what's in the spray that's not bothering anyone else.

I get headaches easily. It's a fibro thing I think. Smells bother me very easily, especially chemicals.
I told a supervisor I felt ill and had taken some head stuff, and i'd go home if it continued. UGH.

There's a whole "health and safety" aspect in the business world these days so if there is something that affects you medically, you should be able to go home, without reprocutions, or worrying about looking bad.
I hope this doesn't go on too long for you.
